Apple's Cutting Edge is Blunt
Apple doesn't care whom they affect negatively with their new product releases. The new Mac Pro 2013 might be cutting edge, but by eliminating the ability for users to upgrade the machine by adding internal components, they've revived the old Video Toaster appliance concept. It has limited appeal and limited use. And at the training conference I'm at today, the users with the biggest problems are the guys who own brand new MacBooks, the ones that don't have ethernet ports. Wifi is not always available, or the best networking option. I'm happier than ever with my Samsung i5 laptop.
